Upon arrival in Kigali, you will be warmly welcomed by our representative and assisted with your transfer to the city’s key attractions. Begin your exploration with a guided tour of Kigali, including a visit to the Kigali Genocide Memorial to gain insights into Rwanda’s history and resilience. Explore local markets and craft villages to experience Kigali’s vibrant culture and artisanal crafts. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant, tasting traditional Rwandan dishes.

In the afternoon, embark on a scenic drive to Volcanoes National Park. Check into your lodge or hotel near the park and relax, preparing for the upcoming adventures.

Start your day with an early breakfast before heading to Volcanoes National Park’s headquarters. There, you will receive a briefing on the gorilla trekking experience, including safety guidelines and trekking procedures.

Set out on a guided trek through the rainforest to locate one of the park’s habituated gorilla families. Spend up to one hour observing these majestic creatures in their natural habitat, watching their social interactions and behaviors.

After the trek, return to your lodge for a relaxing lunch. In the afternoon, visit Gorilla Guardian Village to learn about local conservation efforts and immerse yourself in traditional Rwandan culture through music, dance, and crafts.

Begin your day with breakfast at your lodge before heading out for a golden monkey trekking adventure. Track these playful and elusive primates in the lush forest of Volcanoes National Park. Spend up to one hour observing their energetic behavior and striking golden fur.

After the golden monkey trek, return to your lodge for lunch. In the afternoon, visit Ellen Campus, a cultural and educational center focused on community development and environmental conservation. Discover ongoing projects and learn about initiatives aimed at supporting local communities and preserving Rwanda’s natural heritage.

Start your final day with breakfast at your lodge before setting out for a hike to the Dian Fossey Tomb. This trek will take you to the site where the renowned primatologist Dian Fossey is buried. Gain insights into her pioneering work in gorilla conservation and the history of Volcanoes National Park.

Following your hike, return to your lodge for lunch. Afterward, embark on the scenic drive back to Kigali. Depending on your flight schedule, you may have time for final shopping or exploration in the city. Conclude your adventure with a transfer to Kigali International Airport for your departure or choose to extend your stay in Kigali for an additional night if desired.
